Gregory Couzens in National Final

Local hairdressers, Gregory Couzens of Rochdale, has proved to be a cut and colour above the rest and is in with a chance to win international hairdressing fame and fortune by competing in the world’s hottest hair competition: the 50th Anniversary L’Oréal Colour Trophy!
The Gregory Couzens Salon team will create their Autumn/Winter 2005 look at the North Western Regional Final in the Bridgewater Hall, Manchester, on Tuesday 29 March 2005. They need to impress the celebrity judging panel, including Alan Edwards and Richard Ward, if they are to beat the competition and make it through to the glittering London Grand Final event in May.
Kaye Volante from Gregory Couzens said, “This is the chance of a lifetime! I can’t express how excited we are to be able to compete against the best of the best in our region. We are 100% committed to winning a place in the London final, it’d be a dream come true!”
The North Western Regional Final promises to be a night to remember as the best stylists from across the area compete head to head to win one of the five coveted London final places that will be awarded to:
• The top three L’Oréal Colour Trophy category entrants
• The winner of the L’Oréal Men’s Image Award
• The winner of the Next Generation Colourist Award, sponsored by Hairdresser’s Journal
An exclusive catwalk collection by Molly Grad, winner of the 2001 L’Oréal Total Look Award and Assistant Designer to Stella McCartney for three years, will be presented during the judging and before the celebration party that promises to keep the Bridgewater Hall hotel up until the early hours.
