New ten pin bowling alley

Date published: 02 March 2005

Sandbrook Park is now a complete leisure complex, according to many youngsters in Rochdale, with the opening of a new ten pin bowling alley and laser quest. Strike Ten Bowl has been built in the place of the old Nemesis nightclub, in between Fitness First Gym and the Odeon cinema.

Strike Ten Bowl opened on Tuesday 1 March, and it’s sure to be a big hit with locals. The complex includes a brand new 18 lane bowling alley, a large amusements area, a bar and DJ, two party rooms and a fully equipped laser quest.

Strike Ten Bowl owner Mr Mulhern said; “We’ve been working on the place since September and have come really far, there has been an amazing amount of work gone into the building. We have already taken a lot of bookings for parties and events”.

For booking information ring Strike Ten Bowl on 01706 638383, or to visit, leave M62 at junction 20, at the roundabout take A627 (M) signposted for Rochdale, and at the traffic lights go straight across into Sandbrook Park.
