Heywood supporters and former players will have chance to catch up with three former players on Saturday 18 July as the first team host Monton & Weaste at Crimble.
Trevor Brown, a Heywood player that moved to Western Australia in the 1970s is back over for a short trip. Trevor played for the club from 1957 to 1973 and scored over 3,000 first team runs picking up Championship and Wood Cup medals along the way.
Nolan Hall who hails from Kalgoorlie but now lives on the outskirts of Perth is also over for a wedding and will be travelling down from the North East on the day. Nolan was originally professional at Crimble in 1978 and returned as overseas amateur in 1979 and again in 1984 and 1985 playing a part in the double winning team of 84.
A more recent addition, Hamish Paterson returns from Melbourne for a holiday and to do some travelling. The opening bowler had two seasons at the club in 2011 and 2012 before his younger brother Riley took over as overseas amateur.
