Bamford Tennis Club open day
Bamford Tennis Club held an open day on Saturday 16 May as part of the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) initiative to provide free tennis sessions to non-members.
The aim of the open day was to introduce people to tennis, who have either never played or who have previously played but now don’t.
The initiative was successful as the club has since introduced a number of new players to tennis.
The club has decided to continue the initiative and will offer social tennis sessions every Saturday afternoon and Monday evening.
The event followed an open day in April, in which the club aimed to attract more people to the club and to try tennis for free.
