Springfield Park JFC under 11s Cup final Win
Springfield Park JFC under 11s beat arch rivals Soccer Village Green under 11s in a thrilling cup final at Heywood sports Village mini soccer league on Sunday morning (24 May).
Soccer Village took the lead and doubled it, against the run of play, before Springfield pegged them back through Dan Johnson and then Jack Kelly.
A second half winning goal from Dan Johnson along with some fantastic saves from man-of-the-match Alex Cockerill led to wild Springfield celebrations at the final whistle.
Manager, Craig Cosgrave said: "This team never gives in, all the players gave me 100% and took what we had practiced in training into the game."
