Kate Cross makes history taking eight wickets in men’s league game

England International Bowler and Heywood Cricket Club cricketer, Kate Cross made history on Sunday (10 May) as she took eight wickets in a Lancashire men’s league match.
Cross recorded figures of eight for Heywood in their Central Lancashire League (CLL) fixture against Unsworth, who were bowled out for 121 and lost by six wickets.
In April, Cross became the first woman to play in the league in its 123 year history.
She has also helped Heywood place third in the table.
