Norden Cricket Club
Norden Cricket Club has signed wicket-keeper batsman Ash Gowers who was with Brooksbottom last season.
Ash is a highly rated 20-year-old who is already in the Lancashire second team.
NCC cricket committee chairman Dexter Fitton said: "This is a terrific signing for us, and I am delighted that Ash has joined us. He is a tremendously good young player."
Gowers will replace Michael Williams who has signed up to play Aussie Rules back home.
Another player joining Norden is pace bowler Chris Hartley who returns to Woodhouse Lane after three seasons away.
Norden will host a NatWest Cricket Force event on 27 and 28 March.
Volunteers are wanted to help with the countless pre-season jobs which need doing on the ground (from 10am).
Those who turn up will be joined by lads from Hopwood Hall College who will help out with some of the tasks.
