Hill warns players to expect a tough match against Wrexham

Date published: 30 November 2007

Tomorrow's match against Wrexham gives Dale a great chance to capitalise on last week's victory and climb into the top ten.

Keith Hill again has an almost full squad to choose from but despite Wrexham's lowly league position Hill warned: "we will be in for a tough match especially with a new manager in place and players out to impress".

With so many players to choose from Hill has players fighting for positions and he added: "it is vital that everyone is pulling together and fighting for the points to take us up the table as quickly as possible".

Its Dale footballer Adam Le Fondre's 21st Birthday on Sunday. In September 2006 he bagged four goals against Wrexham for his previous club Stockport and Dale fans are looking to Le Fondre for a repeat of that at Spotland tomorrow.

Tom Kennedy's consistency was rewarded this week by being selected for the Football League Team of the Week.

Following Saturday's game against Wrexham, Dale travel to Accrington on Wednesday 5 December. Coaches will be leaving Spotland at 5:45pm and can be booked by calling the club or at the club shop.

The match against Lincoln City at Spotland on 5 January is still available for Sponsorship. Please call Iain Johnstone on 01706 753581 to discuss the options available.
