The 'Bolt from Kirkholt' signs new deal

Club Captain Wayne English is the latest of the play off final winning squad to put pen to paper on a new deal.

The 'Bolt from Kirkholt', who was recently inducted as an inaugral member of the 'Heroes of Hornets' Hall of Fame, is delighted to again be signing for his home town club.

Wayne expressed his delight: "New deal agreed and signed. Rochdale Hornets sign local youngster!"

English joins the following players who have signed for 2014:

  • Danny Davies
  • Steven Roper
  • Chris Tyrer
  • Matty Crow
  • Jordan Case
  • Joe Bate

  • Benji Lloyd
  • James Dandy 

The squad start back to pre-season tonight, with at least three new signings, along with as many as eight trialists also attending.

Early Bird season tickets are currently on sale for all 13 home Championship fixtures, priced at £125 for adults, £85 concessions (over 65, NUS, armed forces) and £25 juniors.
