Hill looking forward to FA cup tie at Torquay

Date published: 30 October 2013

Manager Keith Hill has given his thoughts the FA Cup with Budweiser first round draw.

Dale have landed an away tie at Torquay United and Hill says he is looking forward to the fixture.

“We’re in the FA Cup, we’re in it to be competitive, we’re in to challenge and we’re in it to get as far down the line as we possibly can.

“I haven’t got a problem with who we’re playing and whether or not it’s home or away, so I’m looking forward to the fixture.

"Between now and then we’ve got a really important game at the weekend against AFC Wimbledon, then we’ve got the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy match against Chesterfield the Tuesday after the FA Cup, so it’s a really good week to look forward to.

“I’m really looking forward to the challenges that lie ahead. We want to be in as many competitions for as long as we possibly can. We want to win as many games as we possibly can and be successful, so whether it’s the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy, the FA Cup, or the league which is really important to us, we want to stay competitive and be successful for as long as we possibly can.”
