Katie Hargreaves entered the WJ15 1x but the event was cancelled due to extremely bad weather!
The Saturday events proved much better, the weather a total contrast to the previous day - warm, sunny and light winds.
In the early morning time trials, Jess Leyden (WCh 1x) got through to the semi finals; Charles Redshaw (Ch 1x) and Adam Clegg (J17 1x) just missed out on semi final places.
Jess won her semi final easily with the fastest time, putting her in lane three for the final - she won by two lengths to secure the trophy. This completes the set - she has previously won the Wj15, WJ16 and WJ17 events.
