Clash of the Co-ops

Date published: 29 May 2013

History will be made when Rochdale Hornets take on the Hemel Stags on Sunday 2 June.

Hornets and the Stags are owned and run by their respective supporters trusts, making Sunday's game the first ever between two co-operatives.

To celebrate that fact and that Rochdale is the home of the co-operative movement the admission price has been slashed to only £2. with the special voucher available from the Hornets web site: www.hornetsrugbyleague.co.uk

It is a full day of family fun with the Hornets and Hemel under 20s  playing the curtain raiser before the vital Kingstone Press Championship One game.

There is also face painting and a rugby league inflatable plus a co-operative market with stalls and retailers exhibiting their wares.

The fun starts at around 12.30pm.
