Thursday night game at Mayfield Sports Centre

Mayfield depart from the norm this week with a Thursday night fixture at the Mayfield Sports Centre. The opposition are local rivals Eccles.
Eccles have not had the best start to the season with only one win to their credit. The win came last week against Dewsbury Celtic and will be a massive confidence booster to the Salford side.
Matt Calland's side recorded a decent win over premier side Skirlaugh in the cup last week and will be looking for a similar performance and another two points.
There were no injuries picked up last week so Calland and Sam Butterworth could be looking at an unchanged side for the game for the first time this season.
The forwards were particularly impressive against Skirlaugh and laid the foundation for the victory and if they perform like that again on Thursday they should be too strong for Eccles.
