Rochdale v Plymouth preview

Date published: 26 April 2013

Rochdale striker Reece Gray is in line for his first start of the season after making a substitute appearance in the defeat at Oxford.

Rochdale manager Keith Hill told BBC Radio Manchester: "He's [Reece Gray] done a lot of hiding and seeking, so he's got to find himself and this [summer's] pre-season will be an indicator if he is the real deal.

"This season has been a massive education. I'm glad I came back as I didn't want to be waiting in the queue of unemployed managers.

"I've put a lot of foundation work and structure into the football club which will serve us for years to come.

"I know we can get the rewards through hard work and endeavour. There has to be a plan to develop young players and those who haven't achieved their potential."

Andrew Tutte and Rhys Bennett (knee problems) will both miss the game.

Plymouth boss John Sheridan has a fully-fit squad to pick from as he aims to try and guide the club to safety.

If they get a point they will definitely survive and could so even if they lose as a number of other results would have to go against them.

Plymouth Argyle manager John Sheridan told BBC Radio Devon: "We're preparing as though we've got 20 games left in the season.

"We've done things right and hopefully everything we've done we'll take into the game and hopefully get the result we're after.

"We know if we can get a draw or win we're safe and that's what we'll try and do.

"If we don't get the win hopefully results will go our way but we go in hoping to win the game."
