Hornets progress in the Challenge Cup ended at the hands of Super League side, Bradford Bulls.

Hornets were behind 6-30 at the break - Dave Sutton the Hornets try scorer with Paul Crook converting; Bradford tries from Samuel Wood, Jamie Langley, Luke Gale, Chev Walker and Jarrod Sammut.

John Cookson crossed the line for Hornets' second half try whilst Gale, Sammut, Bateman and Michael Platt scored for Bulls to hit 70 points.

Bradford's Jamie Foster - who was brought through the Saints academy by Rochdale coach Ian Talbot - kicked two goals and Sammut added to his try brace with nine conversions.
