Open Training

Tomorrow is the first chance to see the lads in training as the u20s and first team come together for a training match at Hopwood Hall College.

The teams will be mixed as the coaches look at varying combinations ahead of the first teams Law Cup fixture against Oldham a week on Sunday and the u20s first game away at Halifax on Wednesday 27 January.

The fixture follows on from a similar training match last week as the u20s had a hastily arranged hit out at Rochdale Mayfield.

Members are welcome to come down tomorrow free of charge and see how the squad is shaping up.

The lads have been asked to arrive for 8am and will kick off following a short warm up/training session and will be having breakfast at the Flying Horse at approximately 11.30.

Please note this is a training ground run through, rather than a 'first vs u20s' fixture.

Finals on the Horizon

It has been confirmed this week that the winners of the two pools will meet in the curtain raiser of the Northern Rail Cup final, meaning that a day out could be on the cards for Hornets fans!

Matt Calland commented 'It gives the competition the edge now, knowing that if we hit the ground running we have the chance of a final and a big day out. The lads are now raring to go!"

This week the title sponsor for the Championships were announced. Hornets are pleased to welcome on board Kingston Press Cider for the 2013 season and beyond.

Kingston Press has been available on matchday at Spotland and we hope our supporters get behind a significant sponsor-responsibly of course!

Season Tickets/Car Park Passes

Season Tickets are now ready for collection from the office on Monday, Wednesday or Fridays.

Car Park passes will be given out at the first Northern Rail Cup match.

For those of you yet to renew, season tickets can be purchased by calling into the office or on the website in the 'SHOP' section.

Rugby League World Cup Hospitality

Hospitality packages for the Rugby League World Cup fixture at Spotland are set to go on sale next week!

Gold and Silver packages are available for this match, as is a special fans package.

All are reasonably priced and are set to sell fast, as fans aim to get that little bit closer to the Worlds Best!
