Squad Numbers Announced

Head coach Ian Talbot has named his squad numbers for the 2013 campaign.

At training on Tuesday, the players were presented with their kit and Ian Talbot commented: “I’m not a big fan of squad numbers, but it is something we have to do. I have given the numbers on application at training, but it is by know means any indication of my starting line up- everything is still to play for.”

Rev Signs In

The club has this week confirmed Garry Whittaker as Club Chaplain.

Garry is currently at Holy Trinity Church in Bacup after previously serving in Waterhead.

A lifelong Leigh Centurions fan and a former player on the 3rd team at Leigh Miners, Garry has been a supporter of the game for a number of years.

A chaplain is here to provide confidential support, advice and guidance to players, coaches, staff, members and fan at Rochdale Hornets, so feel free to chat to Garry on matchday or contact the office for his contact details.

Trial Game

With the St Helens game being postponed, Ian Talbot and Matt Calland will turn to an 'in house' trial game to run the rule over the squad.

On Saturday 9 February, the under 20s and first team squad will take part in a 'trial match' at Hopwood Hall College. Kick Off is expected to be 10am - follow the official website for final details.

Spectators are welcome to attend free of charge, but any donations to the Under 20s Fund would be greatly received through the bucket collection.
