Willbutts Lane stand closed
Date published: 19 December 2012
Dale has announced that the Willbutts Lane end will not be open to home supporters for Friday’s League Two encounter against Cheltenham Town.
A decision has been made not to open the Willbutts Lane stand to home fans on weekday night games due to the extra costs associated with stewarding, gate staff and catering staff.
The Willbutts will also be closed to home supporters for the New Year’s Day match versus Rotherham United due to the potential numbers of away supporters expected.
A spokesman for the club said: "A review of opening Willbutts Lane to home fans on a weekday night will be made in the new year."
