The popular coaching courses organised by Dale’s Football in the Community Trust again surpassed expectations with over a hundred children attending venues round the Borough.
Six first team players took time out of their busy schedule to present the youngsters who attended the sessions at Soccer Factory, Siddal Moor Sports College and Wardle High School.
At the end of each week all 111 attendees were given an goodie bag plus Certificate of Attendance and a ticket for the home match for Dale’s League Two encounter against Fleetwood Town on Saturday 27 October.
Siobhan McElhinney, the Trust Assistant Manager, commented: “Thanks must go to Dele Adebola, Neill Byrne, Peter Cavanagh, Matty Edwards, Bobby Grant and Ben Smith for taking time out of their busy training schedule as it makes huge impression on the children.”
