Rochdale AFC scores website sponsorship with Seddon Homes

A Housing developer that is building nearly 100 new homes in Rochdale has lent its support to the town’s football team.

Seddon Homes, the company behind the 90-property Bridgefold development near the town centre, is sponsoring Rochdale AFC’s website for the 2012/13 season.

Denis Maddock, sales and marketing director at Seddon Homes, said: “The Bridgefold development is less than a mile from the Spotland stadium, so it makes perfect sense for us to support the team by sponsoring the website.

“Everyone in Rochdale is hoping the lads can bounce back from relegation and secure a return to League One at the first time of asking. We are proud to be supporting them in their quest.

"Let’s hope the first residents at Bridgefold will be strolling to Spotland for some League One action on Saturday afternoons this time next year!”

Rochdale AFC chairman Chris Dunphy said: “We are grateful to everyone Seddon Homes for their invaluable support.

“It’s positive to see new homes being built near the stadium, and I’m sure the Bridgefold development will prove a great success.”
