Mayfield take on Latchford

With the first team playing on Tuesday (31 July) night, Mayfield’s focus is on the Alliance side on Saturday afternoon.

After missing last week’s fixture due to first team call-ups and holidays robbing them of eleven players, Mayfield are hoping that their returning players will be ready for action.

It’s been a tough season, with the inability to field a settled side being an aspect of summer rugby no one has catered for. However, summer rugby is here to stay meaning the team will have to adjust.

Lee Durrant should have a strong squad to select for the game against Latchford, especially considering the return of the six who performed so admirably for the first team last week.

All players meet at the club as usual pre-match.
