With only 11 days to go, preparations for the big day are well under way! The Supporters team are hosting a training session tomorrow evening (Thursday 28 June) at 6:30pm at Milnrow Cricket Club, which is where the big match will take place! Events on the day start from 12:00pm, with the match scheduled to begin at 2:00pm. Entry costs are £2 per person, with children under 16 admitted free of charge. There will also be a showcase of local junior rugby league teams on the day, and a performance from the Hornets’ dance team. We hope to see you down there!

Rugby League’s Fastest Man

Last night, Barry Clarke travelled across to Headingley Stadium, Leeds, to take part in the Rugby League’s Fastest Man competition, which was held during the Rugby League 9’s Finals evening. The contest was so close between London Broncos’ Omari Caro and Leeds Rhinos’ Jamel Chisholm that a video replay was needed to determine the winner, with Caro just edging ahead to grab the £1000 prize. Well done to Barry for taking part.
