Rochdale Schools Cup Final

The Shocka Sports Rochdale and District Schools Cup finalists have been confirmed the showpiece final, set to be hosted at Spotland Stadium.

With the weather causing havoc with fixtures all year round, the finalists have had to wait until the last minute to be confirmed, but with the league standings confirmed, final prepartions can now take place.

The Under 13s final will be contested by old foes Hollingworth Business and Enterprise College and St Cuthbert's RC High School.

The two teams have met twice this year all ready, with St Cuthberts running out 48-40 winners in a close contest at Cobras Firgrove home and 24-12 winners at Littelborough ARLFC.

With both games being hotly contested and often too close to call, the Schools Cup could be heading either way.

St Cuthbert's are also represented in the under 15s final, after dominating fixtures at year 9 and year 10 all year. They will face off against Matthew Moss, who clinched the last final spot at the last festival on Thursday.

Gareth Palmer will be refereeing both contests.
