Mayfield under 7's report

Old boys support Mayfield under 7's

Mayfield Mustangs under 7's had no game at weekend due to the inclement weather but they trained indoors on the 3g and took delivery of their smart new kit.

The players looked just like their adult hero's and clubmates in the kit which is a replica of Mayfield's National Conference League Team adult strip. Sponsored by Mayfield Masters, The Hornets ex-players association and ex-Mayfield legend Tony Allen of Leedale Painters and Decorators, the kit will get it first outing this Sunday at near neighbours, Waterhead (10.30am kick off).

Masters off to the seaside

Mayfield Masters themselves return to action this weekend with a trip to the Blackpool masters festival.

Masters Rugby League is a gentler version of the game tailored to enable the involvement of players (old and new) over the age of 35. The ethos is 'we do not stop playing because we grow old - we grow old because we stop playing'.

Fixtures will take place throughout the summer and everyone is welcome along to watch or participate. Contact Simon on 07920 865 106 for more details.
