Rochdale Lacrosse Club hosted the two day 2012 Northern Flags Lacrosse Festival at Redbrook, the culmination of which was the Senior Flags Final between Stockport and Cheadle, that Stockport won easily 15-2.

Rochdale Under 16s took on Heaton Mersey U16s in the U16 Plate Final but lost 5 -3.
