Hornets star signs for New Zealand

Rochdale Hornets Community Development Officer Terri Davey is all set to take up an exciting post as she looks to grow the game of rugby league in Nelson, New Zealand.
Terri has been offered and accepted the post of Regional Rugby League Development Officer in Nelson with NZRL (New Zealand Rugby League), aiming to increase participation levels across all forms of the game including clubs, schools and colleges.
Ms Davey came to Rochdale 2 years following a stint working with Wigan Warriors Community Foundation and has worked tirelessly to build up a reputation second to none in Rochdale.
Terri has coached over 2000 children in the Borough, through FUNdamental coaching, classroom education, rugby league leaders awards and half term skills camps, playing a pivitol role in getting children into community clubs in the Borough, as well as doubling the number of junior season ticket holders at Rochdale Hornets.
As well as working with young children, Terri has also played an influential part in ensuring Hornets meet minimum standards in there community work and achieve Clubmark Gold accreditation, as well as being a strong driving force at Littleborough Hillside Ladies, where she has played since being a junior and captained them in the recent WRLA Challenge Cup Final.
