Date published: 24 March 2012
Young football supporters in Rochdale are being invited to join an exciting scheme run at the town’s professional club.
Junior Dale is open to anyone under the age of 16 and is free of charge.
Members of the new club, which has been set up by the Dale Supporters Trust, have the following possible benefits:
- Match-day experience – enter a draw to play five-a-side on the pitch at half-time; meet club mascot Desmond the Dragon and receive a souvenir
- Parties – end-of-season and Christmas parties, with the opportunity to meet players and enjoy the celebrations
- Mascot packages - enter a draw to win the chance to be mascot on match day
- Away trips - enjoy a day out watching Dale away from Spotland
- Dale Supporters Trust website - ask questions and write comments, plus read news about the club hot off the press
- Junior forum - give opinions about Dale
Forms can be picked up from the Football in the Community Trust Office (behind the Pearl Street Stand) at any Rochdale FC home match.
