Rochdale Premier Indoor Cricket League round up

An excellent last ball win by Peshawar Panthers kept them at the top of the league with 22 points. Rochdalians are on second place with 20 points. King Lions, Max XI and DLCC are on 3rd place with 16 points each.
The first two matches of the league were between Rochdalians and DGS in Hall 1 and Max XI vs Unique Hall 2. DGS won the toss and batted first and scored 79 runs in their 8 overs. Good batting from Nadeem 22 runs and Zia 16 runs. Good bowling from Illyas of Rochdalians taking 4 wickets for 14 runs. Good response from Rochdalians winning the match by 2 wickets. Good batting from Atif scoring 17 runs and Arfan 17 runs. Good bowling effort from Shahbaz taking 2 wicket for 6 runs and Asif (Papu) 1 wicket for 9 runs.
In the other match Max XI batted first and scored 139 runs in their 8 overs. Excellent batting from Rauf 30 runs (not out) and Dustaghir 20 runs (not out). Not a good response from Unique as they were bowled out for 58 runs and lost the match by 81 runs. None of their batsmen got into double figure. An excellent bowling from Chand (taking 3 wickets for 8 runs) and Ali (taking 2 wickets for 20 runs) of Max XI.
The next two matches were between DLCC vs Peshawar Panthers and King Lions vs 8 Lions. DLCC won the toss and decided to bat first. They scored 127 runs in their 8 overs. Good batting from Shakeel 31 runs (not out) and Mohammed Tayyab 27 runs. Good response from Peshawar Panthers winning the match by 1 wicket. Good batting from Shakeel 27 runs (not out) and Shakir 21 runs. Also good bowling from Shakeel (taking 2 wickets for 8 runs) and Shakir (taking 2 wickets for 20 runs) of Peshawar Panthers.
The next match was between King Lions and 8 Lions. King Lions batted first and scored 93 runs. Good batting from Tariq 30 runs (not out) and Qaiser 12 runs. Good response from 8 Lions and won the match by 4 wickets. Good batting from Javid 22 runs and Ali 20 runs. Good bowling from Habib taking 1 wicket for 8 runs and Javid taking 1 wicket for 10 runs.
