Rochdale Premier Indoor Cricket League round up

Good wins for Peshawar Panthers, DLCC, King Lions and Rochdalians. This week Rochdalians and Peshawar Panthers are topping the table, with 18 points each. King Lions are in second place with 16 points and DLCC in third position with 14 points.
The first two matches of the league were between King Lions and Max XI and DLCC vs DGS.
King Lions batted first and made 128 runs in their 8 overs. Excellent batting from Mohammed Sohail 30 runs (not out) and Tariq 18 runs. Good response from Max XI and made 122 runs and lost the match by 7 runs. It was a close finish but very good batting effort from Siyab 36 runs and Chand 13 runs. Good bowling from Mohammed Sohail taking 2 wickets for 7 runs.
In the other match DLCC batted first and scored 127 runs in their 8 overs. Excellent batting from Mohammed Siddique 43 runs (not out) and Guffran 18 runs. Not a good response from DGS and losing the match by 74 runs. Apart from Farhan 14 runs none of the other batsman gets into double figures. Good bowling from Mohamed Siddique taking 2 wickets for 5 runs and Abdul Quyyom taking 2 wickets for 6 runs.
The next two matches were between 8 Lions and Rochdalians and Unique vs Peshawar Panthers.
8 Lions won the toss and decided to bat first. They scored 84 runs in their 8 overs. Good batting from Rafiq 34 runs (not out) and Sakib 11 runs. Good response from Rochdalians and won the match by 4 wickets and 3 balls to spare. Good batting from Hafeez 32 runs (not out) and Arfan 12 runs (not out). Good bowling from Mohammed Sakib (taking 2 wickets for 18 runs) and Habib (1 wicket for 6 runs) of 8 Lions.
In the other game, Peshawar Panthers batted first and scored 116 runs. Good batting from Saif 22 runs and Waseem 19 runs. Good bowling from Mozamal taking 2 wickets for 18 runs of Unique. Not a good response from Unique and they lost the match by 74 runs. Apart from Munawar scoring 15 runs none of the other batsmen could get into double figures. Good bowling from Mohammed Shakir taking 1 wicket for 5 runs and Waseem Qasim taking 1 wicket for 5 runs.
