Rochdale Premier Indoor Cricket League round up

The second round started this week and Peshawar Panthers, Rochdalians and King Lions are fighting for the top position in the league.
Max XI, DLCC, and Bury Panthers are competing for the second and third places.
The first two matches of the league were between Peshawar Panthers and Max XI and King Lions vs Rochdalians.
Max XI batted first and made 105 runs in their 8 overs. Excellent batting from Rauf 29 runs and Mohammed Amjad 25 runs. Good response from Peshawar Panthers and won the match by 6 wickets. Again excellent batting from Saif Khan 31 runs (not out) and Waseem Qasim 24 runs (not out). Good bowling from Sakib Ali taking 1 wicket for 8 runs and Mohammed Zahid 1 wicket for 15 runs of Peshawar Panthers.
In the other match King Lions batted first and scored 88 runs all out. Good batting effort from Mohamed Sohail 22 runs and Amjad Ali 15 runs. Excellent response from Rochdalains, winning the match by 6 wickets and 3 overs to spare. Good batting from Malik Abdullah 30 runs (not out) and Hamid 17 runs. Good bowling from Mohamed Atif taking 3 wickets for 13 runs and Mohammed Arfan 3 wickets for 15 runs.
The next two matches were between 8 Lions and DGS and Unique vs Bury Panthers.
8 Lions won the toss and decided to bat first. They scored 154 runs in their 8 overs. Good batting from Javeed(2) 30 runs (not out) and Hafiz Ali 26 runs. Good bowling from Mohammed Saleem (taking 2 wickets for 1 run) and Hafeez (2 wicket for 7 runs) of 8 Lions. Not a good response from DGS, they scored 47 runs all out and lost the match by 107 runs. Good batting effort from Nadeem 14 runs and Asif (Papu) 11 runs.
The second match was called off due to Bury Panthers failed to turn up and 2 points were awarded to Unique. Also A bye and 2 points awarded to DLCC this week.
