Rochdale given permission to speak to Accrington Stanley boss

Rochdale AFC has been given permission to speak to Accrington Stanley manager John Coleman about the vacant manager’s job at Spotland.
In a statement the club said: “Rochdale Football Club can confirm that Accrington Stanley have given their permission for Rochdale AFC officials to speak to their manager John Coleman regarding the vacant managerial position at Spotland.
“No further comment will be made at this time.”
In a statement on their website, Accrington Stanley confirmed that an official request from Dale to speak to Coleman had been received.
The club's Chief Executive Robert Heys, added: “We will always be absolutely fair to John and Jimmy who have given their all to our club.
"It must be stressed that this is a very early point of a process and we will provide supporters with any updates should this develop."
