Rochdale Supporters Trust Week: Day five

Date published: 12 August 2011

Perhaps the most important role the Trust has to play is the continuous raising of funds for Rochdale AFC. All the money we raise is passed on to the club whenever there is a project or a purchase that we can help to fund.

In the current financial climate, raising money is harder than ever, and so we as a Trust aim to be as imaginative and hard-working as ever. Luckily for us, Dale fans have proven time after time that they are willing to chip in and help out the football club.

In order to reward the constant generosity, and to make it worth it for you, we try to put on fundraising events that are fun, interesting, and most importantly, good value for money. Therefore we always offer Trust members discounts to all of our events.
Events in the pipeline for this season include a Quiz Night, a Curry Night (or possibly a Chinese Night in its place this year), a Golf Day and a number of others still being discussed.

All Dale fans are obviously welcome at any event we hold, but as a benefit of being a Trust member you will get a discount on the admission. The actual amount of the discount will vary by event, but we try to make it a significant amount as a token of our appreciation of your continued support.

If reading the articles during this Trust Week has convinced you that you would like to join the Trust (and don’t forget that there are plenty more benefits to being a member) then there are a few ways you can join us and help to support us and the club. You can join by filling out an application form at the Trust Desk in the Dale Bar before every home game. Or you can pick one up simply by walking through the turnstiles for tomorrow’s game against Huddersfield, where there will be Trust representatives waiting to hand you a form should you wish. Alternatively, you can join online at www.daletrust.org.uk. Membership costs £10 for the entire season.

We hope you have found this week interesting and informative, and we welcome each and every one of you to join us. To those of you who are already members, thank you. Up the Dale!
