Bamford booked a spot in the semi-final of the Leicester Shield with a convincing win over Austerlands who have only lost once in the league this season.
Bamford got off to a steady start and with 6 overs gone were 24 without loss after some accurate bowling from Mayall and Garforth.
In his first over, the change bowler Ellis drew a false shot out of Alex Willis and he was well caught by keeper Moore but his opening partner Joe Smith-Butler responded well by taking 9 off the last two balls of the over.
For the third time in three games, Matt Buckley and Smith-Butler then put on 80 runs before the latter retired on 50. Buckley was then dismissed for 49 with Moore taking another good catch.
The final total of 114 looked very competitive but Bamford knew that they would have to bowl better than in their last game.
Ahmed Nawaz gave Bamford the perfect start, clean bowling both openers with the first and third balls of a hostile double wicket maiden over, leaving the visitors on 2 for 2 with one over gone.
He followed this up with another wicket in his second over but Austerlands began to settle the innings with some steady batting from Ellis and Tairg.
A good boundary catch by Danny Matthews off the bowling of Joe Mitchell removed Tairg and when Wilis caught Ellis off Adam Ahmed, Bamford seemed to have the game won.
Austerlands though thought differently and good batting by Webb (17) and Garforth (12 n.o.) was ended when Ben Durrant bowled Webb.
Sam Halligan took the last wicket of the game running out Moore off his own bowling and the visitors came up 31 runs short.
