Rochdale Football Club has confirmed that Keith Hill has re-opened talks with Barnsley, despite ruling himself out of the manager’s position at the Yorkshire side last week.
A statement on Club’s website reads: “The club can confirm manager Keith Hill has re-opened discussions with Barnsley Football Club regarding the vacant management position.
“Rochdale AFC will comment further when the outcome of these discussion are known.”
Barnsley are due to present their new manager at a press conference at lunchtime tomorrow (Wednesday 1 June). They have refused to say publicly who it is.
Just last week Hill said it was “business as usual” at Spotland and he wouldn’t be moving to Barnsley.
