Rochdale Premier Cricket League – week 17 round up

Speed Stars and Rochdale Lions kept their winning momentum going in week 17 against 8 Stars and Unique respectively. In other matches Rochdalians won against Paradise Stars, and Thornham CC against RYCC.

First match of the day was between 8 Stars and Speed Stars. Speed Stars batted first and made 112 runs in their 8 overs. Good batting from Shakir 32 runs (not out) and Khan 25 runs (not out). In response 8 Lions made 94 runs and despite excellent batting from Bukhari 30 runs (not out) lost the match by 18 runs.

Second match was won by Rochdale Lions against Unique. Rochdale Lions batted first and scored 140 runs in their 8 overs. Excellent batting from Rashid 30 runs (not out) and Shahid 27 runs. In response Unique made 105 runs and lost the match by 35 runs.

An easy win for Rochdalians against Paradise Stars. Paradise Stars batted first and made 68 runs. Rochdalians won the match by 5 wickets and 3 overs to spare.

Last match of the day was between RYCC and Thornham CC. RYCC batted first and made 101 runs in their 8 overs. Excellent batting from Gufran 30 runs (not out) and Kamran 31 runs (not out). In response Thornham CC won the match by 5 wickets and 1 over remaining.
