Rochdale Premier Cricket League – week 16 round up

Good win of 8 Stars against RYCC earned them top spot in the league. Unique and Paradise Stars moved to 2nd place. Again Good wins for Speed Stars against Unique and Rochdale Lions against Paradise Stars. In other matches Rochdalians won against Thornham CC, and Bury Panthers against 8 Lions.
First match of the day was between Bury Panthers and 8 Lions. Bury Panthers batted first and made 102 runs in their 8 overs. Good batting from Raza 22 runs (not out). In response 8 Lions made 72 runs all out and lost the match by 30 runs.
Second match was won by Rochdale Lions against Paradise Stars. Rochdale Lions batted first and scored 140 runs in their 8 overs. Excellent batting from Abdul Rehman 28 runs and Dastghir 30 runs (not out). In response Paradise Stars made 87 runs all out and lost the match by 53 runs.
Next match was between Rochdalians and Thornham CC. Rochdalians batted first and made 113 runs. Good batting from Hamid 35 runs (not out) and Asif 20 runs (not out) In response Thornham CC made 107 runs and lost the match by 6 runs. Excellent bowling from Faisal taking 3 wickets giving 21 runs.
Fourth match was between 8 Stars and RYCC. 8 Stars batted first and made 125 runs. An Excellent batting from Tariq 31 runs (not out), Bukhari 31 runs (not out), and Waleed 18 runs (not out). In response RYCC made 88 runs all out and lost the match by 37 runs.
Last match of the day was between Speed Stars and Unique. Speed Stars batted first and made 142 runs in their 8 overs. Excellent batting from Waseem 32 runs (not out) and Rauf 30 runs (not out). In response Unique scored 122 runs and lost the match by 20 runs.
