Rochdale Premier Cricket League – week 15 round up

RYCC inflicted another defeat to Unique and Paradise Stars keep their winning momentum going in the 2nd round. Good wins for Rochdale Lions, Speed Stars, Bury Panthers, and Max 11.

First match of the day was between Bury Panthers and Punjab. Bury Panthers batted first and made 155 runs in their 8 overs. Excellent batting from Hanif 30 runs (not out), Zulfi 27 runs (not out) and Sajjad 24 runs. In response Punjab could only managed 89 runs and lost the match by 66 runs.

Second match was won by Rochdale Lions against 8 Stars. Rochdale Lions batted first and scored 121 runs in their 8 overs. Excellent batting from Abdul Rehman 40 runs (not out) and Dastghir 30 runs (not out). In response 8 Stars made 108 runs and lost the match by 20 runs.

Next match was between 8 Lions and Max 11. Max 11 batted first and made 140 runs. In response 8 Lions could only made 99 runs and lost the match by 41 runs.

Fourth match was between Speed Stars and Rochdalains. Speed Stars batted first and scored 102 runs. In response Rochdalians 89 runs and lost the match by 12 runs.

Another win for Paradise Stars against Thornham CC. Batting first Paradise Stars made 144 runs in 8 overs. In response Thornham CC made 87 runs and lost the match by 57 runs.

Last match of the day was between RYCC and Unique. Unique batted first and made 130 runs in their 8 overs. Excellent batting from Asif 43 runs (not out) and Mo 24 runs. Good response from RYCC by 7 wickets and 3 balls to spare. Excellent batting from Tayab 33 runs (not out), Iftikhar 30 runs (not out) and Siddique 30 runs (not out).
