Town team representatives to be honoured

Players who have represented the Rochdale Town Team in the last three games are to be presented with ‘Town Colours.’

Rochdale ARL chairman, Mr David Heaton, said: 'Those players have represented the town with pride in the last 3 games and we feel this is a fitting way to reward them.

“We will present them with a commemorative tie and also give them the right to call themselves 'Town Team Players'.

“Those lads have done tremendously well and we feel that the honour of earning 'Town Colours' will persuade many other lads in the town to push themselves that bit harder and aim for the minimum of 3 games required to pick up the honour.”
