Rugby award nominations announced

Tickets are selling fast for the inaugural Rochdale awards dinner in April, with all clubs looking to celebrate the winter season end in style.

Former Bradford, Salford and New Zealand International Robbie Hunter-Paul is due to headline the dinner, which promises to be a cracking night all round for players, committee members, coaches volunteers and their partners alike.

The following Nominations have been received so far for the 2010/11 Bolton, Bury and Rochdale Awards Dinner:

Volunteer of the year 
Fi Bowker (Rochdale Cobras) 

Young volunteer of the year
Matty Connoly (Milnrow Cobras)
Matt Crowley (Littleborough/Hornets 18s)

Coach of the year
Steve Gartland (Mayfield Mustangs u14s)

Team of the year
Hopwood Hall Rugby League Academy

Club of the year
Bury Jigsaw Wheelchair Rugby League

Player of the year
Adam West (Rochdale Cobras)

Young player of the year
Michael Robinson (Whitworth Spartans)
Ben Duffy (Hornets u18s)
Jack Ashworth (Littleborough ARLFC)
