Under 14's call on army to lend a hand

Mayfield under 14s have taken part in a teambuilding event – with the help of the army!

During the recent bad weather the players participated in ‘goal setting’ exercise and one of the outcomes was for the players to participate in a team building exercise.

The coaching team got their heads together and decided to call in Sgt Lee Robinson to utilise his experience and knowledge in the area.

The team building day was a huge success for the players, who carried out various tasks to test their physical and mental skills.

The team’s coach, Stephen Gartland, said: “The players’ feedback post event was very positive and the team are looking to make this a permanent fixture in the calendar.

“Thanks to Sgt.Robinson for taking time out of his schedule to work with the team.”
