Mustangs’ players selected for regional squad

Two Mayfield Mustangs Rugby League players have been selected to represent the North West Regional Squad at U14's.

Joel Pearson and Isaac Noi have been part of a training squad since the start of the season and have now progressed through to next stage, as the squad has been reduced from 36 to 24 players.

Mayfield U14s head Coach, Stephen Gartland said: “This achievement is a reward for their match day performances and commitment/dedication to the sport.

“They are now operating in an elite training/performance environment working with some of the sports top coaches, who are developing their skills, knowledge and athletic ability to give them the capability to further their future careers within the sport.”
