Holness extends Spotland stay

Marcus Holness heads
Rochdale AFC defender Marcus Holness has signed a two-year contract extension that will keep him at Spotland until the summer of 2013.
Holness, 22, joined Rochdale from Oldham on loan, before making the move permanent in January 2008.
He told the club website: "I have had a good start to the season and I have been playing to get a new contract so I'm over the moon right now.
He added: "With football you never know what is round the corner. To have that security for the next two years is brilliant."
