Law Cup Sunday

Four Oldham Rugby League Club new boys, Andy Isherwood, Liam Gilchrist, Ben Wood and John Clough, will take centre stage when Roughyeds entertain derby rivals Rochdale Hornets in Sunday's Law Cup clash at Whitebank Stadium, 3.00pm kick off.

Also on view for the first time in Oldham colours will be Tom Wood-Hulme, a young prop who has joined Roughyeds for trials after playing at Academy level for Salford and St Helens.

Scrum-half Michael Diveney and centre Alistair Williams will make senior debuts after coming up through the reserves and earning contracts to become fully-fledged members of the senior squad.

Oldham (from): Bentley, Boults, Clough, Diveney, Ellison, Gilchrist, Gillam, Heaton, Isherwood, Mansfield, Onyango, M Roden, N Roden, Sutton, Walker, Williams, Wood, Wood-Hulme.

"We always have a humdinger with Hornets, and this one will be no exception," said Roughyeds coach Tony Benson.

Hornets (from): English, Johnson, Gorton, Strong, Yates, McGovern, Roper, Newton, Wood, Bowman, Ashall, Smith, Donoghue, Powell, Crook, Samuel, Bloomfield, Cookson, Hayes, Clough, Hobson, Kennedy, Saywell, Taylor.

Admission prices are £10.00 adults, £8.00 concessions and £4.00 under-16s. Transfer to seats, on a first-come basis, will be £2.00. Fans are advised to arrive early to ease congestion at the turnstiles and on the car park.
