Rochdale v Charlton game is called off

Tomorrow's match at Spotland has been postponed due to a frozen pitch following an inspection this morning (Friday 3 December).

The postponement was reported in an official statement on the club website: "The move to call the game off early is to minimise expense and disruption for both Rochdale and Charlton Athletic football clubs and their supporters.

"The likelihood of any play looked doubtful at the beginning of the week, especially with the forecast of minus temperatures, however, we have done everything we possibly could to get this game on but sadly mother nature, on this occasion, has won."

A new date for the rearranged fixture will be announced in due course.
