Date published: 02 November 2010

The third and final round of the Rochdale and District Motorcycle Club’s novice and beginner championship has taken place the club’s Sharnyford venue.

In the adult novice class it was a very close finish with first to forth place all finishing on 1 2 3 and 4.

In the youth novice class Richard Andeton went round for a loss of 6 but was riding out of class, so the points for the win went to Jack Butterworth who lost 18 in total and in third place was Josh Jones on his Sherco losing 33 in total.

In the Beginner or easy route class there was a varied field of machine’s being ridden with British thumpers the odd TY pinke and the rest all on the latest modern machinery.

Top man was Eric Boocock on his Triumph going around for the total loss of 6 marks dropped on various sections, second went to peter Andrews on 11 marks lost in total.
