Amateur player in serious injury
Rugby League is a hard game as our recent spate of injuries will testify.
Local player Wayne Jopson, Joppy to those who know him was involved in a "freak accident" whilst playing for Mayfield recently. Unfortunatley the accident resulted in Joppy losing an eye.
Friends of Waynes are throwing the fundraiser on Sunday 16 May at the Mayfield Rugby Club, Castleton, starting at 3pm the event will include a variety of singers and entertainment.
There are still tickets available for the event. Call Aidy McDermott on 07722 426 335 for more information.
