Oldham RL to unveil venue

Oldham Rugby League are to release a statement concerning the venue for Sunday’s home Northern Rail Cup pool game against Rochdale Hornets tomorrow.

Further talks were held over the weekend and continued yesterday as the club aims to tie down a home ground for the forthcoming season and those in the future, but nothing has yet been confirmed.

“Matters have continued to move on positively over the last two or three days,” said Oldham chairman Chris Hamilton.

“And on Wednesday we will be making an announcement about Sunday’s game.”
