Tom Kennedy scores Dale's third goal from the penalty spot in the derby fixture earlier this season.
Rochdale's derby fixture against local rivals Bury will be shown live on television.
Dale were due to travel to Gigg Lane on Saturday 30 January but the game has been put back to the Monday night (1 February) so that it can be shown live on Sky Sports.
The contest for local bragging rights will kick off at 7.45pm and Bury will be out for revenge after they were on the receiving end of a 3-0 thrashing at Spotland earlier in the season.
If the two sides can maintain their current form between now and February then Sky will be sure to bill the game as a promotion clash, with Dale currently sat top of the League Two table and their rivals pushing for a play-off position.
