New cricket league starts this weekend

Rochdale Sports and Cultural Links have organised an 8-a side Cricket League starting this weekend.
The Rochdale Premier Cricket League at the sports complex at Springhill School starts tomorrow (Sunday 1 November).
Ten teams are taking part and matches will be played from 12.00 - 5.00pm every sunday. The league will run over 15 weeks and cricket fans are being encouraged to come and enjoy a day out cheering on the teams.
RSCL hopes to promote community cohesion, encourage young people to participate in sporting activities and create awareness of physical health and well-being through the event.
