Rochdale Town 1 Barnoldswick Town 3

Rochdale Town remain without a win in Vodkat League Division One after losing to Barnoldswick at the weekend.
Town were three goals behind going into injury time before James Greenhalgh scored a consolation goal from the penalty spot.
The home side started the game brightly enough, and even had an early goal ruled out after the referee chose to bring play back for a Town free kick rather than allow an advantage that saw them put the ball in the back of the net.
Things went downhill from there, with Barnoldswick taking the lead just seven minutes in. A slick move down the left created an opening, Town keeper Mark Canning could only parry a shot, and Stuart Airdrie was on hand to give the visitors the lead.
Barnoldswick threatened a massacre as they scored a second with the game just 13 minutes old, Airdrie sealing a brace with a fine 25-yard effort.
The visitors didn't go in for the kill and instead settled on their advantage, which was never threatened by a lacklustre Town.
Town manager Dean Stokes made numerous changes in the second half and it made for a better performance from the home side but the game was sealed with 20 minutes to go when Neil Chapman put Barnoldswick three goals clear.
Greenhalgh's penalty was the only moment for the home side to cheer and they will be desperate for a first win of the season when they travel to fellow strugglers Eccleshall next Saturday.
